1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you practice interviews, we store the text transcripts of your answers, AI-generated feedback, and session scores. We do not record or store audio.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the InterviewPilot service — generating questions, conducting mock interviews, analyzing answers, and showing your progress over time. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models without explicit consent.

3. LinkedIn profile data

If you provide LinkedIn profile URLs for your interviewers, we fetch and store the public profile data via Scrapin.io to personalize your practice sessions. This data is associated with your position and can be deleted at any time by removing the interviewer from your pipeline.

4. Third-party services

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and hosting. Payments are processed by Stripe. AI responses are generated by Anthropic's Claude API. None of these services receive your personal data beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

5. Data retention

Your account data and practice sessions are retained until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@interviewpilot.io.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
